Day three of the 2019 edition of “Caricature Resolution” has civil rights pioneer, Rosa Parks, as the subject:

For the second year in a row, the local alt-weekly for Asheville, Mountain Xpress, has put out a “humor” issue that features many parodic and satirical articles and features, in addition to the normal, serious ones that appear otherwise. For the second year in a row, I was asked to […]
Day two of the monthlong drawing challenge for caricaturists: “Caricature Resolution 2019”, and the subject is the late Diana, princess (not to be confused with Diana Prince, the secret identity of Diana, princess of the Amazons, but she may show up later this month, I haven’t looked over the whole […]
My other daily drawing challenge for the year, in addition to “Drawlloween” in the month of October, is January’s more specific caricature-only challenge, Caricature Resolution. “Build-A-Beast” Using my ultimate pen to pen the penultimate day of Drawlloween 2018. The prompt of Build-A-Beast, based on—presumably—Build-A-Bear Workshop, led me down the usual road of using a bevy of “Beast” characters from pop culture comics and animation. In this case: Beast from the Marvel Comics team, The X-Men; […]
“Scarecrow Records” Unsure of the origin of this pun (is it like Death Row Records?) I showed my age and used an actual LP record instead of other interpretations of the word. I also made a record label logo to put on it. The results are supposed to show an […]
