Rufus Wainwright, the singer-songwriter-composer who is the son of folk singers Kate McGarrigle and Loudon Wainwright III is the day 26 assigned celebrity for this year’s January drawing challenge.
I chose a younger version to draw, going by this album cover. I first sent it to my Instagram account, with a more overcast filter that better appropriated the album cover look, but then I got unhappy with the uneven drooped mouth and redid it as above, even if the brighter colors don’t go with the expression.
