The calendar for the January caricature-a-day drawing challenge lists day 22 as “Miguel Ferrer.” This actor is the offspring of actor José Ferrer and singer Rosemary Clooney, making him the first cousin of actor George Clooney.
I went back to a more realistic style of painting with hopefully enough exaggeration to still qualify as a caricature. There were many great photos of him at age 61 or so, before he passed away, but for some reason I needed to do the version of him in a younger role. He was great in RoboCop, but also in Twin Peaks, so I went with his surly FBI agent, Albert Rosenfield for this caricature.
