Day 9 of Caricature Resolution 2018 calls for:
JAMES BROWN
Just mixing styles up to keep it interesting for me and any others since, unlike other subjects, where there were too many versions to choose from, most of the reference photos I found for my distant cousin, Mr. Brown, were too similar and I already saw so many other artists doing them already, that I couldn’t imagine mine being much different unless I tried a new approach, like this minimalist, cut out approach. I still heeded his immortal pleas to “make me sweat – ah!”
